HI EVERYBODY!IM SOOO HAPPY 2 DO THIS AND IM ALREADY HAVING SO MUCH FUN! I HOPE I HAVE AN AWESOME TIME WITH THIS BLOG AND I'LL ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I CAN!!!!!!!IT'S NOT LIKE I HAVE AN OUTIDE LIFE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. PSHT. UR HILARIOUS! IM ALWAYS LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS WHEN I GET HOME.
ya.....NO!
I'm being forced to do this against my will. But i still have 2 do it....... so sha. so my name is "that girl who lives in a box on the side of highway 9", of course that's not my real name but if i put my real name on here some creepy stalker will read it and track me down. it's always good to be safe :)
So apperently, i have to write what type of reading i like to do. well, that's so thoughtful of you to ask me! i just happened to be thinking of my favorite readings.....
I am actually an avid reader. I used to be obsessed( i mean OBSESSED) with books in the fourth and fifth grade.. and third.....and second.. so pretty much almost all of elementary school. i don't know what happened in the summer between 5th and sixth grade, but now im dramatically less obsessed with books now. But i am still obsessed.
i like fantasy and adventure books alot. I'm not sure why i like them so much, i just do. I like the Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and the Twilight series. Realistic fiction is okay, but my favorite realistic fiction book is Every soul a Star.
I also like poems because some are really inspiring. A couple of years ago, if someone asked me what poetry was, i would say lines that rhyme with each other. But now i know that not all poetry has to rhyme, so that makes defining poetry harder. According to the Google dictionary:
po·et·ry
noun /ˈpōətrē/ /ˈpōitrē/ poetries, plural
So, I did not understand many of the words in that definition, so i will just say poetry is writing expressed in special ways, like rhyming, pictures, and syllables. |
But, nonfiction books or texts with really big words are annoying. Some hard words are okay, so show that the author is not at a first grade level, but too many make the text hard to read and it kind of gets pointless. I like nonfiction books with authors that have some creativity instead of just listing out facts.
Some authors i like are J.K Rowling, Erin Hunter, Stephanie Meyer, Wendy Mass, and Rick Riordan.
hahaha, i luv your blog. It's soo funny!!!
